Description
Allen & Heath MixWizard WZ 16:2 dx Mix Wizard Mixer Up for auction is a used Allen & Heath 16 Channel Mix Wizard with original manual. I am the original owner. Used with our band for about 2 years gigging a few times a month - kept in Anvil flight case during that time.(Anvil case is not included with this auction). It's been sitting stored in my basement for about 3 years now. There are no cosmetic flaws other than normal scratches and dings from use. I checked every channel before listing (by using an XLR mic and plugging into each XLR input and monitoring through a set of headphones). Channel #1 and Channel #12 are scratchy and not as "hot" as the other channels. There is a bit of distortion in them. Possibly these are "blown" channels, they still work, but just much lower volume and appear distorted. I probably wouldn't use them as they are now without either cleaning them or checking them very well. The remaining other 14 channels sound nice and clean/clear. I checked the effects here and there as I went through and they worked just fine. Also moved the EQ settings around on some of the channels as I was checking and there were no problems. All the Aux buttons, peak buttons, pads, faders, etc. all seem to be working fine. The only problem, as stated, was the channel #1 and #12. Possibly someone with some knowledge can open it up and check those out. Here is some information on the mixer at Allen & Heath's site. http://www.allen-heath.co.uk/UK/DisplayProduct.asp?pviewI HOWEVER, the one listed on their site is for a more current version I think (since it has a little "3" after the WZ. Mine doesn't have that. For the most part, they appear to be the same, but I do not know the specific differences or updates. Mine is about 5 or 6 years old.) No bids accepted from anyone outside the USA No bids accepted from anyone with ANY negative feedback All items sold "as is. No returns and no warranties. Please ask any questions before bidding. All shipping and handling costs are to be paid by the buyer. We accept PayPal only. NOTE: If you have less than a 10 star rating, please contact me first before bidding. I prefer to speak with folks directly with less than a 10 star rating as I have been burned in the past.
